NIckIt was tough for me to kinda of root against them in this series but I felt Dallas was better and I would love for Dirk, Jason, and Shawn Marion (loved him with the Suns my other fav team) to get a ring; knowing OKC will have many more opportunities. Seattle definitely got screwed and I wish they were still there, too. Im actually looking forward to the next great Celtic run/rebuild, after the big three retire, and think that if we can somehow build with FA signings, trades (not for a while as we dont have much other than Green or Davis if he signs and then would agree to a trade) and drafting smartly (again, gotta lose a whole lot games to be in the top 3 lottery teams, which I hope doesnt happen) we might avoid the 3-4 year run as a lottery team. Teams are following OKCs model (Kings for example) if they suck so they dump players and lose games to rebuild, but I think, and certainly hope, that Bostons tradition, banners, style, and all will be enough that we can attract some major FAs (DH would be great but I think he wants to go to LA, but with Brown as the coach now, maybe not?) rebuild quickly as opposed to sucking for several years. For me, its kind of like going through all the great Celtic groups and their title runs. I cant get enough and enjoy each new one. Besides, Im getting tired of watching PP because his skill level is ebbing. Hes still very good but hes been a Celtic forever it seems. Go Cs
The Daily Republic appears to have greatly exaggerated its open source contributions to its own website. And when given the opportunity to acknowledge and correct this, the paper appears to have only exaggerated further.
Being a softball league lover it used to be OK at that park with very few homeless at our games. I am not sure why but the significant increase in the homeless population have made it undesirable to play games at the park. My girlfriend and her kids would always come watch my games, not any more as they now stay home, dont want to expose youngs kids to that kind of behavior. Its a crying shame the park has deteriorated so bad with homeless drunks. Why cant the city or parks department fix this?
He is in the Hall of Fame. Doesn't that count as respect?
Those who compare Borzhanov to Horowitz are damning him with faint praise. Although he is no Horowitz, he does belong in that tradition.
